Marine Services Auckland Limited is a New Zealand owned an operated company that specialises in all aspects of on and off the Water Marine support.

We have an impressive track record in providing extensive Marine based support ranging from Salvage, Heavy Marine Transport, Wreck removals, construction and tailored special projects to a range of clients throughout New Zealand.

MSAL is based within the Auckland region however we have the ability to provide nationwide support, and the success of the company is testimony to our dedicated, experienced and well resourced team that has continued to grow for over 40 years.

Nick Lewis

Master and Command

Master and in command is Nick Lewis.Nick has 40 years+ experience in Marine services. Specialising in Marine Salvage, towing and tugging.With extensive relationships within the Marine Industry including Maritime New Zealand, Coastguards and a number of Harbour masters Nick will often be the first point of contact when a vessel is in distress.

He has earnt his respect with years of experience and a significant amount of success in boat salvage. More recently Nick has been providing support to the well known Rena wreck based in Tauranga.

But if you don’t find him in Tauranga Nick will often be seen surveying and supporting in the wider Auckland harbour.

Operations Management

Sally Lewis

Head of daily operations and management of MSAL. Sally has an additional 25 years experience in the Salvage and marine industry giving her the experience and knowledge to operate such a business. If you don’t find Sally with her phone attached to her ear you may find Sal behind the laptop coordinating the company operations. For all organisational and financial aspects of the business, please contact Sal.
